Shavonia Armstrong Dies in Motorcycle Accident on 24th Street Near Wah Avenue
SACRAMENTO, CA (March 8, 2019) – Family members are mourning the death of a 45-year-old woman killed in Thursday’s motorcycle crash on 24th Street Near Wah Avenue.
Officials responded to reports of a collision around 6:30 p.m. At the scene, authorities determined that a motorcycle and a vehicle collided under unknown circumstances.
The coroner’s office identified the victim as Shavonia Armstrong. News reports say Armstrong and another rider collided with a vehicle as the driver turned onto Wah Avenue from southbound 24th Street.
Paramedics transported the other motorcyclist to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
Per news reports, investigators are determining the cause and circumstances of this fatal accident.
