32-Year-Old Pronounced Dead after Spokane Auto Collision
SPOKANE, WA (March 29, 2020) – On March 28, a 32-year-old male resident of Spangle died in a car crash on Highway 195 in Spokane.
The Washington State Patrol revealed that Shane Remp was traveling north on Saturday when he drove across the center line and struck a semi’s driver side.
Due to the impact, Remp’s car stopped in a southbound ditch of Highway 195. Authorities declared him dead at the scene due to the extent of his injuries.
Meanwhile, the 48-year-old driver of the semi truck, identified as Joseph Reid, did not suffer any injuries.
Washington State Patrol also revealed that Reid was wearing a seat belt at the time. However, it is still unclear whether Remp did the same.
As of this time, police do not know whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision.
