Several Injured in 6-Vehicle Collision on Loop 202 [Phoenix, AZ]

Phoenix, AZ (June 30, 2023) – On Wednesday morning, seven people were injured following a 6-vehicle collision on Loop 202 in Red Mountain Freeway.

Phoenix fire officials responded to the scene at about 9:30 a.m. near 24th Street and located six vehicles that were involved in the collision.

Four victims were treated at the scene and three men ages 70, 35, and 24 years old, were taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Arizona Department of Public Safety officials stated that a truck rear-ended a car. Afterward, four other vehicles became involved in the chain-reaction accident.

Officers are investigating the Phoenix traffic collision.
