Feliciano Rodriguez Dies in SR 125 Traffic Collision
Walla Walla, WA (July 16, 2022) – On Friday night, Serafin Perez-Ledesma, 51, of Milton-Freewater, sustained injuries, while Feliciano Rodriguez, 47, of Walla Walla, died in a vehicle collision on State Route 125.
The collision took place at about 7:15 p.m. between College Place and Milton-Freewater.
According to the investigators, Feliciano Rodriguez was driving a southbound 2005 Chevy Aveo hatchback on the freeway. Officers say he failed to stop at the red light on Stateline Road 4 and struck two vehicles in the intersection.
Sadly, Feliciano Rodriguez died in the collision.
Immediately, the paramedics rushed Serafin Perez-Ledesma to Providence St. Mary Medical Center with unknown injuries.
In the meantime, officers are investigating the cause of the SR 125 traffic collision. They say drugs or alcohol did not play a role in the incident.
Feliciano Rodriguez was wearing a seat belt during the accident, but Serafin Perez-Ledesma was not.
Brianna Kessler, 27, of Dayton, was eastbound in a 2018 Mazda CX-5 on Stateline Road.
Kathryn Carlson, 63, of Richmond, was northbound in a 2014 Lexus.
Kessler and Carlson did not sustain injuries from the collision.
