3 Hurt in Seattle Crash With Bus
SEATTLE, WA (February 28, 2019) – Three people were injured when a car smashed into a school bus on Seaward Park Avenue South at South Henderson Street Tuesday afternoon.
The collision happened in the 8800 block of Seward Park Avenue South in front of Rainier Beach High School. Police arrived at the scene to find a car that crashed head-on with a school bus.
The 19-year-old driver of the vehicle was seriously hurt and brought to a nearby hospital for treatment. Two others in the same vehicle suffered minor injuries and were treated at a local hospital.
The driver of the school bus, who was the lone occupant of the bus, was not harmed.
It isn’t clear what caused the driver to strike the bus, but an investigation is underway.
