SeaTac Man Dies in DUI Crash on Lake Fenwick Road [Kent, WA]

Kent, WA (December 30, 2023) – An 18-year-old SeaTac man sustained fatal injuries following a DUI crash on Lake Fenwick Road on Friday morning.

It was about 4:22 a.m. when the single-car crash happened in the 26400 block area.

Kent Police officers arrived at the scene located the driver, a 19-year-old Covington man, standing near the crashed vehicle with a severely injured man trapped inside.

Firefighters freed the man but he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Investigators said the driver was intoxicated and speeding when he lost control of his vehicle and slammed into a tree and power pole.

Paramedics treated the suspect for his injuries and booked into jail for investigation of vehicular homicide.
