Scott Hobson Dies in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Collision Near Ashlan Avenue and North Effie Street

 
FRESNO, CA (December 3, 2018) – A 56-year-old man was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver near Ashlan Avenue and North Effie Street last Tuesday.
 
Scott Hobson, 56, was in a crosswalk near Ashlan Avenue and North Effie Street when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver.
 
Police have yet to reveal more details about the suspect’s vehicle, but they did confirm that Hobson was in a crosswalk and was not at fault. He was brought to a local hospital yet died six days later.
 
Hobson suffered brain damage and head trauma. He is being remembered as being a giving man by his loved ones. Anyone who knows any more information regarding this fatal incident is urged to call the authorities.
