LAKE STEVENS, WA (August 18, 2021) – Tuesday night, a 12-year-old scooter rider died in a crash on 91st Avenue Northeast.
 
Moreover, the incident occurred in the 5500 block of 91st Avenue Northeast.
 
According to the investigators, the 12-year-old boy and a friend rode scooters in a driveway. Then, he went out into the street until a pickup struck him.
 
The deputies confirmed that the driver couldn’t stop in time. Thus, the crash occurred.
 
Meanwhile, the pickup truck driver stayed at the scene and helped the child until medics arrived.
 
However, the boy succumbed to his injuries.
