Bicyclist Perishes in Saratoga Crash

 
SARATOGA, CA (December 26, 2018) – A bicyclist was killed, and another suffered injuries following a crash along Highway 9 just south of Carnelian Glen Court.
 
California Highway Patrol officers are investigating the ultimate cause of the collision that happened around 1:35 p.m. and involved an unknown number of vehicles. The fatal crash closed the northbound lanes, yet drivers were able to drive onto Mendelsohn Lane near Monte Sereno to avoid the closure.
 
The details of this crash are under investigation by the authorities. Anyone with information is urged to contact police officers.
