Injuries Reported in Highway 19 Fatal Crash
Van Zandt County, TX (October 4, 2024) – Sara Stoehr, 24, of Larue, and Karen Carlisle, 63, of Wills Point, were killed in a vehicle crash on Highway 19 Saturday.
Troopers said a southbound and a northbound vehicle collided on the freeway.
Karen Carlisle was in one of the vehicles. She was declared deceased at the scene.
Meanwhile, Sara Stoehr, along with three children, were in another vehicle. Sara Stoehr was taken to CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances in Canton where she was declared deceased.
Subsequently, the rescuers rushed the children to Children’s Hospital Dallas in unknown condition.
Texas DPS is investigating the deadly crash.
