SANTA MARIA, CA – Man Hit, Injured by Driver on West Cook Street Near South Pine Street

Pedestrian Hospitalized in Santa Maria Crash

 
SANTA MARIA, CA (January 16, 2019) – A pedestrian was seriously injured Tuesday morning after being struck by a vehicle in the 200 block of West Cook Street near South Pine Street.
 
According to Santa Maria Police Sgt. Paul Flores, the unidentified victim is expected to survive his injuries.
 
The crash happened around 5:44 a.m. when the man was hit by a vehicle and suffered major injuries.
 
There were few details regarding the events leading to the crash, but an investigation follows.
