Woman, Infant Unharmed Following DUI Accident Into San Pedro Police Station
SAN PEDRO, CA (February 12, 2019) – A woman and an infant crashed into Los Angeles Police Department’s Harbor Area station on John S Gibson Boulevard near the 110 Freeway early Saturday.
Around 4:45 a.m., a female driver reportedly maneuvered past exterior barriers and plowed into the station’s lobby. She allegedly tried pulling out, but the barriers trapped the vehicle in.
Neither the infant nor the woman was injured in the crash and officers were able to take the woman into custody to determine what charges would be filed. So far, police believe the woman was under the influence, yet it is not clear if she intentionally crashed into the station.
