Injuries Reported in San Marcos 2-Vehicle Wreck on Highway 78
SAN MARCOS, CA (January 17, 2019) – A woman was injured following a two-car crash Thursday morning in San Marcos.
The crash happened around 11:39 a.m. on Highway 78 at Nordahl Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a silver Ford Taurus and a black Chevrolet Sonic collided for unknown reasons. When officers arrived on the scene, one vehicle was blocking the middle lanes while the other was on the right shoulder.
A female occupant in the Sonic sustained cuts to the eye and lips. Responding paramedics took the patient to a medical facility for proper treatment.
There were no descriptions of any vehicular damages but both cars were towed away from the crash site.
Several lanes were blocked by firefighters while they worked on the scene.
