Woman, Driver Hurt After Trash Truck Overturns in San Juan Capistrano

 
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA (December 26, 2018) – A trash truck overturned and struck and injured a woman Friday morning on Del Obispo Street near Via Belardes.
 
The incident happened around 9:15 a.m. on Del Obispo Street near Via Belardes.
 
Authorities say the truck driver lost control and overturned, striking the woman who was walking along the sidewalk. Both the driver and the woman were brought to local hospitals and expected to make a full recovery.
 
According to the driver, she was cut off by another vehicle and had swerved to avoid a collision when the truck overturned.
 
The identities of the injured victims were unavailable.
