Pedestrian Dies in Hit-and-Run Crash on Rigoletto Drive and Brahms Avenue, Suspect at Large
San Jose, CA (August 23, 2021) – Police are looking for a suspect in a hit-and-run crash on Rigoletto Drive and Brahms Avenue that killed a pedestrian on Sunday.
The tragic incident happened on August 22 on Rigoletto Drive and Brahms Avenue shortly before 1 a.m.
According to the San Jose police, the male pedestrian was not in a crosswalk when he crossed the street. Then, a passing vehicle hit him and immediately fled the scene.
As a result, the man died on the scene. However, his identification is being withheld pending notification of his next-of-kin.
Meanwhile, police said that the vehicle is believed to be similar to a 2006-2008 Acura TSX 4 door sedan. Furthermore, the vehicle probably has damage to the front end due to the collision.

Moreover, this incident is the city’s 40th deadly traffic collision and 41st victim this year. It is the 17th pedestrian death of 2021.
