Pedestrian Struck, Injured in San Francisco Hit-and-Run Collision
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (January 16, 2019) – A 64-year-old woman was seriously hospitalized in a hit-and-run pedestrian collision Monday morning at Palmetto and St Charles avenues.
The unidentified woman, believed to be 64 years old, was crossing the street when she was hit by a black Mazda SUV heading westbound on Palmetto Avenue. The driver of the Mazda failed to stop and continued driving.
The woman was brought to a hospital to be treated for her head injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
As of Tuesday afternoon, no arrests were made. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the authorities.
