Man Hospitalized With Serious Injuries Following San Diego Pedestrian Collision
SAN DIEGO, CA (November 20, 2018) – A 65-year-old man walking in a crosswalk at Rosecrans and Kurtz streets was hit and injured by a motorist Sunday evening.
According to San Diego police Officer John Buttle, a 29-year-old man was driving a 2004 Ford pickup truck southbound on Rosecrans Street and struck the 65-year-old man in the crosswalk as the Ford attempted a left-hand turn. The victim suffered major injuries in the 6:15 p.m. crash and was hospitalized immediately after.
Authorities have yet to determine who was at fault.
