Pedestrian Struck, Injured by Hit-and-Run Driver in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (February 1, 2019) – A pedestrian was hospitalized Wednesday morning when he was struck by a hit-and-run motorist near 25th and Market streets.
The man was hit around 5:45 a.m., according to San Diego Police public affairs Officer Billy Hernandez.
The victim suffered serious injuries to his head and leg and was ushered by paramedics to UC San Diego Medical Center. The circumstances and details concerning the hit-and-run crash were unavailable, but the driver was believed to be operating a beige-colored older model sedan and fled in an unknown direction.
Authorities are investigating this crash further and are seeking the public’s help.
