Boy Fractures Jaw in San Diego Pedestrian Accident
SAN DIEGO, CA (January 22, 2019) – A juvenile was hospitalized Saturday night when he was hit by a hit-and-run vehicle along Linda Vista Road near Comstock Street.
The incident occurred around 8:40 p.m. According to San Diego police Officer Robert Heims, the victim, along with a group of other male pedestrians, were walking northbound in an alley off Linda Vista Road. A car was approaching the bevy of pedestrians, yet in the opposite direction, when suddenly its driver veered closer and struck one of the boys.
The victim suffered a fractured jaw and other unknown injuries to his face. Police officers were informed that the involved car was a white sedan, but no other description of the vehicle was available.
