Driver Killed in San Bernardino Collision
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (February 6, 2019) – A San Bernardino man lost his life Friday morning following a crash with a box truck at Palm and Irvington avenues.
The 11:57 a.m. crash drew San Bernardino Police Department officers and San Bernardino County Fire Department paramedics to the scene.
Arriving crews determined that a 55-year-old man was suffering from grave injuries and immediately transported him to Community Hospital of San Bernardino where he was pronounced dead at 12:46 p.m.
A preliminary investigation determined that the man was driving a 2010 Ford Edge when his car pummeled into the rear of a box truck.
The details concerning the crash remain limited, but the San Bernardino Police Department is investigating this crash further.
