Salvador Meza and Marco Brambila Die in Two-Vehicle Collision on Harrison Street Near Avenue 68

 
THERMAL, CA (January 14, 2019) – The lives of two men were cut short Saturday morning in a two-vehicle accident on Harrison Street near Avenue 68.
 
The incident unfolded around 8:30 a.m., according to Cal Fire.
 
Indio resident Salvador Meza, 23, and Coachella resident Marco Brambila, 24, were identified as the fatal victims in the two-car crash. Both men died around 8:45 a.m. yet it was not clear whether they were traveling together at the time of the wreck.
 
Paramedics arrived and transported three other patients to local hospitals for treatment of their minor injuries.
 
The cause and circumstances of this crash are still under investigation.
