Reckless Driving Leads to Collision on Highway 99 in Sacramento
SACRAMENTO, CA (November 30, 2018) – One person was found unconscious following a two-car crash Friday night in Sacramento, CHP officials said.
The crash happened around 6:15 p.m. on northbound Highway 99 at Fruitridge Road off-ramp.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a gray Honda Civic was recklessly driving when it collided with a red sedan.
Fire crews responded to the scene and located one occupant who was unconscious inside a car. The extent of injuries sustained and the condition of the patient were not immediately available.
There were no descriptions of any vehicular damages but both cars were towed away from the wreckage.
The incident is still on active investigation to determine liability.
