Ryan Golden Killed in Poway Pedestrian Crash on Highway 67

Ryan Golden Fatally Struck by Multiple Cars on Highway 67 Near Cloudy Moon Drive

 
POWAY, CA (December 27, 2018) – A 35-year-old pedestrian was fatally struck by multiple vehicles Sunday in the 15500 block of Highway 67 near Cloudy Moon Drive.
 
The deadly incident happened around 11 p.m. Witnesses say the 35-year-old pedestrian, Ryan Moon Golden, was walking in the middle lanes of the northbound highway when he was hit by a Buick sedan. Golden was then launched into the southbound lanes of the freeway and was hit by at least four cars, one of which dragged him around for 50 yards.
 
According to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office, Golden died of blunt-force injuries.
 
Officials are investigating the cause of the crash and are seeking the public’s help in determining the leading cause.
