36-Year-Old Rosa Covarrubias Killed on South Fortuna Road Vehicle Crash

 
Yuma, AZ (December 12, 2020) – On Friday, 36-year old Rosa Covarrubias died in a deadly vehicle crash on South Fortuna Road.
 
The fatal accident took place at about 6:41 a.m. in the 9500 block area.
 
Apparently, a pickup truck was northbound on Fortuna Road when it crossed the centerline and crashed with a southbound car.
 
Covarrubias, the car driver, incurred fatal injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the rescuers took the truck driver to Yuma Regional Medical Center with non-fatal injuries.
 
Authorities are investigating the incident.
