Fresno, CA (December 30, 2023) On Friday afternoon, a rollover crash on Willow Avenue left 7 people hurt and hospitalized.

According to the Fresno Police Department (FPD), the suspected DUI crash happened around 3:40 p.m. in the area of Willow and Olive Avenues.

Reports say that a speeding westbound dark blue sedan crossed the intersection on Willow Avenue and failed to stop at a red light and crashed into a southbound white vehicle attempting to turn left onto Olive Avenue.

Officials says the impact of the collision caused the sedan to roll over and hit another vehicle.

Medics say that a total of 7 people were transported to the hospital, including the driver of the blue sedan, officials initially reported 4 of the 7 suffered critical injuries, fortunately as of Friday their status is stable.

Meanwhile, police says that the driver of the blue sedan is under investigation on suspicion of DUI.

Authorities are investigating the suspected DUI crash and have not released further details at this time.
