Houston, TX (April 27, 2024) On Friday, a catastrophic rollover collision on I-69 Eastex Freeway near McGowen Street sent 2 people to the hospital.

According to https://www.houstontx.gov/police, the 2-vehicle crash happened near Charles Street.

Reports say that a female driver disregarded a red light and collided with a westbound vehicle.

Officials say that both drivers were rushed to the hospital, authorities say that the female driver who ran the red light suffered serious injuries.

HPD is conducting an investigation and have not released further details at this time.
