Robert Sturghill Dies after Being Run Over by Semi Truck in Fresno

 
Fresno, CA (May 28 2020) – On Memorial Day, Robert Edward Sturghill died after being struck by a big rig after getting out of his truck on Interstate 5.

Reports say the accident happened at 4:30 in the morning on I-5, near the Deschutes Road offramp.

For reasons unknown, Robert Edward Sturghill exited his truck and fell onto the highway.

Then, a big rig behind him hit him while he laid on the guardrail.

Upon arriving, emergency responders pronounced Mr. Strughill, 55, dead at the scene.

Authorities are still investigating whether Robert Edward Sturghill suffered a medical episode before the accident.

Furthermore, the coroner’s office is planning on performing an autopsy immediately.
