1 Person Killed in Fresno Pedestrian Accident near Phillips and Redington Street

FRESNO, CA (May 1, 2024) – Tuesday night, Rosa Pena died in a tragic pedestrian crash near Phillips and Redington Street.

The incident happened at around 11:00 p.m. near Phillips and Redington Streets.

According to reports, an unknown vehicle struck a pedestrian, and then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, responders rushed the victim, identified as 42-year-old Pena, to Adventist Health Handford where she was later pronounced dead.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Hanford Police Department continued to investigate the crash.
