Robert Carson Killed in Motorcycle Crash on 405 and 605 Freeway in Seal Beach
SEAL BEACH, CA (April 27, 2020) – Early Sunday morning, 48-year-old Robert Carson died in a motorcycle crash on the 405 and 605 Freeway in Seal Beach.
The authorities first received a report of the crash at 4:07 a.m. on the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway, just south of the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway.
According to some witnesses, the motorcycle rider rode down the highway, when he crashed into the right shoulder wall of the 405. He then fell off his bike and into the freeway lanes.
As a result, possibly two or more vehicles ran him over.
Because of the incident, authorities issued a SigAlert at 4:27 a.m.
Upon declaration, all northbound lanes of 405 Freeway then closed and the crews rerouted traffic at the Seventh Street off-ramp.
Meanwhile, the Orange County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as a resident of Garden Grove, Robert Carson.
