Roben Noujaim Arrested in Deadly Pedestrian Crash in Moreno Valley
MORENO VALLEY, CA (September 12, 2019) — The authorities arrested a 34-year-old driver in connection with a fatal pedestrian accident in Moreno Valley on Tuesday.
Police took Roben Noujaim of Moreno Valley into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said Noujaim fatally struck a pedestrian near the intersection of Old Valley Drive and Graham Street at about 7:45 p.m. However, Noujaim reportedly stopped after the accident, as required by law.
The victim died at the scene. However, the authorities did not immediately release his name.
Police did not release any additional information at this time.
