Traffic Slowed in Tehama County Auto Accident on Highway 99 and 3rd Avenue

 
TEHAMA COUNTY, CA (May 2, 2021) – Wednesday morning, a vehicle crash on Highway 99 and 3rd Avenue led to a road closure.
 
According to authorities, the incident happened at around 3:00 a.m.
 
Reports revealed that a northbound Toyota Tacoma pickup veered off the road and collided with a pole. Then, the force of the crash pulled down a power line that struck a southbound big rig.
 
Furthermore, authorities said that both drivers sustained no injuries in the crash.
 
Meanwhile, the incident blocked the highway from 4:00 a.m. to around 6:40 a.m. from Second Avenue to Third Avenue.
 
Also, responders from CalTrans managed traffic while PG&E work to fix the affected power line.
 
The incident is under investigation.
