Afternoon Rear-End Collision on 215 Freeway in Riverside, Complaint of Pain Reported
RIVERSIDE, CA (February 6, 2019) – A woman was hurt following a rear-end crash Wednesday afternoon in Riverside, CHP officials said.
The crash happened around 12:25 p.m. on northbound 215 Freeway, just South of Martin Luther King Boulevard.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a red Hyundai Santa Fe was rear-ended by a white Volkswagen Passat in the center divider.
Riverside firefighters responded to the scene and found a female occupant who complained of pain to the back. A small child was also found in the car, unknown if hurt from the impact.
An ambulance unit also arrived to give medical aid to the patient.
There were no descriptions of any vehicular damages but towing services were requested to remove the cars from the wreckage.
The incident is still on active investigation while the authorities are putting the pieces together.
