Motorcyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident on Concord Boulevard

 
CONCORD, CA (July 22, 2019) – An unidentified rider died Sunday morning following a hit-and-run motorcycle crash at Concord Boulevard.
 
The incident unfolded around 12:30 a.m. According to officers, the motorcyclist was heading eastbound on Concord Boulevard when the rider tried passing up a Toyota Prius in the same lane.
 
However, the motorcyclist plowed into the side of the Toyota, which ejected him onto the westbound lane. There, a dark-colored pickup truck ran him over.
 
Unfortunately, the unidentified rider suffered fatal injuries. The pickup truck driver fled the scene failing to render aid while the Toyota driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police investigations.
 
Now, authorities are searching for the driver’s whereabouts and are asking the public’s help in locating him or her.
