Hayward, CA (June 25, 2021) – On June 16, 55-year-old Richard Heard Jr died in a bicycle crash on West Tennyson Road.
 
The fatal crash took place at about 9:15 p.m. near the intersection of Dickens Avenue.
 
The driver of the suspect vehicle was already gone by the time police arrived.
 
Medical personnel worked on Heard there before taking him by ambulance to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley, where he was pronounced dead.
