Ricardo Monroy Killed in Anaheim 2-Car Crash on West Cerritos Avenue

Ricardo Monroy Dead, Several Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on West Cerritos Avenue Near South Dallas Drive

 
ANAHEIM, CA (March 5, 2019) – A two-car accident on West Cerritos Avenue near South Dallas Drive turned deadly Sunday night.
 
The fatal two-car collision occurred around 9 p.m., Anaheim Sgt. Daron Wyatt said.
 
According to reports, four people were hospitalized, including two people whom firefighters cut from one of the vehicles. Ricardo Monroy was among those hospitalized and died in the accident. He died at a nearby hospital despite life-saving efforts.
 
As a result of the crash, two cars sustained major damage.
 
Authorities are investigating whether alcohol played a role in the collision.
