Responders Rescue Police Officer in Crash on 60 Freeway
Riverside, CA (March 11, 2021) – On Tuesday, a Rialto police officer was injured in a big rig crash on 60 Freeway.
The accident happened at about 10 a.m. at the intersection of Alamo Street and Main Street.
The policeman’s unmarked vehicle and the big rig crashed.
As a result, the officer’s vehicle spun off of the road and crashed into a parked car that left the officer trapped.
Right away, firefighters used hydraulic tools to remove the driver’s side door to free the officer.
Rescuers rushed the officer to a hospital with non-fatal injuries. On the other hand, the truck driver was not injured in the crash.
Meanwhile, rescuers withheld the victim’s identity. Also, it is unknown what the officer was doing in Riverside during the accident.
