DUI Collision in Lynnwood Results in Fatality

Lynnwood, WA (May 23, 2023) – On May 13, 60-year-old Rhonda Smith sustained fatal injuries following a pedestrian accident on Ash Way.

It was about 9:30 p.m. when the victim was struck by a vehicle in the 1700 block area and died at the scene. The medical examiner said Smith’s cause of death was blunt force injuries.

The unidentified driver remained at the accident scene.

Meanwhile, investigating officers believe impairment was a factor.
