REDLANDS, CA – Pedestrian Hit, Killed by Car on 10 Freeway Near Orange Street

Man Dies in Redlands Pedestrian Accident

 
REDLANDS, CA (January 21, 2019) – A pedestrian darting across the 10 Freeway near Orange Street Saturday was fatally struck by a driver.
 
The incident happened around 6:45 p.m. on the eastbound side of the 10 Freeway, according to California Highway Patrol.
 
Witnesses reported seeing a man jump a fence and dart across the lanes toward the center divider before being hit by a motorist. The right side of the eastbound lane was shut down until 9 p.m. due to investigations. The driver remained at the scene and was reportedly traumatize following the incident.
 
CHP officers are investigating this pedestrian crash.
