Rebecca Frey, Karen Zimmerman, Pamela Bertoli and Alanna Bertoli Hospitalized in Highway 101 Accident Near Geyserville Avenue
GEYSERVILLE, CA (March 25, 2019) – A Friday afternoon three-vehicle accident on Highway 101 near Geyserville Avenue left one woman dead and four others with injuries.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a woman in a blue Nissan Versa lost control of the vehicle and crossed the center median. The southbound Nissan collided with a northbound 2016 Honda Civic around 3 p.m. Subsequently, it collided with a northbound 2004 Toyota Tundra.
Arriving CHP officers learned from Geyserville firefighters that the Nissan driver died at the scene. The woman’s identity has yet to be released by the coroner’s office.
As a result of the crash, the Honda driver – Pamela Bertoli, 62, of Cloverdale – and her 28-year-old passenger – Alanna Bertoli – suffered minor injuries. Paramedics evaluated both before releasing them at the scene.
However, 64-year-old Rebecca Frey, of Ukiah, as well as her 63-year-old passenger Karen Zimmerman, suffered moderate injuries. Paramedics shuttled both women to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital soon after.
