RAV Passenger Dies in Two-Vehicle Crash on North Avenue [Fresno County, CA]

Temperance Avenue Fatal Collision Injures Drivers 

Fresno County, CA (April 7, 2022) – On Tuesday, a 19-year-old Clovis man riding a Toyota RAV as a passenger died in a two-vehicle crash on North Avenue.

The fatal collision took place minutes after 12:30 a.m. at the crossing of Temperance Avenue.

CHP deputies say the Toyota RAV failed to stop at the intersection and drove into the path of a Toyota Corolla.

Consequently, the Corolla struck the RAV’s passenger side causing it to roll into a dirt field.

The impact of the collision threw the RAV passenger out of the vehicle. Unfortunately, he died at the scene.

Officers say the two drivers sustained injuries.

Moreover, investigators say the passenger was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the collision. 

The authorities do not consider DUI as a factor in this fatal incident.
