APPLE VALLEY, CA (January 16, 2024) – Sunday night, Randy Scott died in a tragic pedestrian crash on Highway 18 near Kasota Road.

The incident happened on Highway 18 near Kasota Road.

According to Sheriff’s spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez, a silver 2020 Toyota Corolla struck a male pedestrian for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders rushed the victim, identified as 62-year-old A. Scott, to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Furthermore, officers confirmed that the driver of the Toyota remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.
