16-Year-Old Girl Involved in FM 3197 Fatal Crash
Collingsworth County, TX (October 10, 2023) – 31-year-old Ramiro Perez-Hernandez of Wellington was killed following a bicycle accident on FM 3197 Sunday evening.
DPS officers said it was about 8:20 p.m. when a 16-year-old girl driving west rear-ended the bicycle ridden by the victim.
The accident report stated that the victim died at the crash scene.
Investigating officers said the driver was unlicensed and they released her to a family member on the scene.
Officers are still investigating.
