1 Killed in Mesa Motorcycle Accident
MESA, AZ (September 13, 2019) – A person died in a motorcycle accident while authorities arrested a woman near Country Club Drive.
According to investigations, 38-year-old Rachel Ann McKinley didn’t stop when she exited a private drive on September 5 near Country Club Drive and Broadway Road. She then crashed with a rider who sustained a brain bleed, broken ribs and broken facial bones. However, he later succumbed to his injuries.
According to witnesses, McKinley threw a pipe after getting out of her car. She hid drugs in her shorts while walking around the crash scene.
Police found amounts of both drugs in her possession. The woman suffered from methamphetamine and heroin use, according to reports.
Rachel Ann McKinley faces charges on narcotics possession and manslaughter.
