Quanda McGadney Dies in Hit-and-Run Crash on Interstate 80 [Vacaville, CA]

Vacaville, CA (June 3, 2022) – On Wednesday, 51-year-old Quanda McGadney, 51, died in a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 80.

Authorities say that the fatal incident happened just after 10 a.m. near Lagoon Valley Road where the Caltrans landscape maintenance worker was working.

Officers say McGadney was struck by Taje Jakkar Holliman, 31, of San Francisco. Holliman was driving westbound on the freeway near Vacaville when the accident happened.

Unfortunately, McGadney succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

Moreover, the authorities arrested and booked Holliman into the Solano County Jail on multiple charges including hit-and-run and vehicular manslaughter.
