SAN DIEGO, CA (February 4, 2020)—A driver crashed her vehicle into an ambulance at Fifth Avenue at Palm Street Sunday morning.
 
The incident unfolded around 10:20 a.m. when a four-door Ford switched lanes and struck the emergency vehicle, which was on its way to Mercy Hospital.
 
Crews contacted another ambulance to transport the original patient, who had been riding in the first emergency vehicle.
 
Fortunately, no one suffered any injuries in the crash; however, the San Diego Police Department seeks to examine this crash further.
