Lamarvie Valentine Involved in DUI Ventura Hit-and-Run Crash
Ventura, CA (November 12, 2020) – On Tuesday, police arrested 44-year-old Lamarvie Valentine of Ventura after a DUI hit-and-run crash near Wells Road and Citrus Drive.
At about 9:57 p.m., the Ventura Police Department responded to a hit-and-run crash at the intersection of Webster Street and Hill Road.
When they arrived, they located a victim who was retrieving items from his parked car that was struck by a white sedan, which also struck two other parked cars.
Minutes later, Ventura police and the California Highway Patrol received a call of a potential crash near Wells Road and Citrus Drive.
Then, a CHP officer located a “heavily damaged” white sedan near Carlos Street and Pajaro Avenue, nearly five miles from the original crash.
Authorities arrested Valentine on multiple felony and misdemeanor offenses, including suspicion of DUI causing injury, and leaving the scene of an accident.
She had a blood alcohol content of more than .08 causing injury.
Finally, authorities booked her into the Todd Road Jail and held on $50,000 bail.
