Phala Neuo Dead, 2 Injured After Car Strikes Center Divider on Bayshore Boulevard Near Cesar Chavez
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (April 8, 2019) – A 31-year-old woman died in a car accident on Bayshore Boulevard near Cesar Chavez Sunday morning.
Phala Neuo has been identified as the 31-year-old Richmond victim who died in the crash that also injured two others.
Around 3:06 a.m., officers responded to a report of a traffic collision.
According to San Francisco police, a silver Chevy Camaro heading northbound on Bayshore Boulevard plowed into a center divider under unknown circumstances. Subsequently, a silver Nissan collided with the Camaro.
Following the accident, all three Camaro occupants were transported to a nearby hospital where the rear seat passenger – Neuo – succumbed to her injuries. The 32-year-old Richmond male driver and a 16-year-old Richmond boy suffered injuries, as well.
Per reports, neither of the Nissan occupants suffered any injuries.
However, because the crash remains ambiguous, authorities are continuing their search of the cause.
To anyone who’d like to donate to Neuo’s service, a GoFundMe page is available.
