TULARE COUNTY, CA (February 11, 2020)—A pedestrian died Saturday afternoon after a train struck the victim on Merritt Drive near Highway 99.
According to officials, the deadly incident happened around 1:30 p.m. when a call came through. Soon after, fire department officials arrived and confirmed the fatality.
