Saint Marys Road Fatal DUI Crash Injures Driver and Passenger
Lafayette, CA (December 29, 2021) – On December 24, two people sustained injuries and 56-year-old Daneen Allenkiester of Lafayette, dies in a DUI crash on Saint Marys Road.
It was about 10:47 a.m. when the accident took place at the intersection with Glenside Drive.
Officers said Allenkiester was driving drunk when her vehicle collided with another one.
The rescuers took her by ambulance to a hospital, where she died two days later.
Moreover, the other vehicle’s driver and at least one passenger sustained minor injuries. Officers did not say how many occupants were in the second vehicle.
Officers are investigating this crash.
