People Rescued in Crash on Interstate 580 near the Stonecut Underpass
Livermore, CA (January 22, 2021) – On Wednesday, people were injured in a crash on Interstate 580 near the Stonecut Underpass.
Firefighters rescued four people in the said crash west of Grant Line Road, in unincorporated Alameda County.
Responders needed 300 feet of rope to rescue the wrecked vehicle.
Then, they attached their ropes to the overpass and traversed down the rocky and steep embankment to rescue to vehicle’s occupants.
Furthermore, three people incurred traumatic injuries.
